I’m happy to be part of the team working on the realization of the Erebero Hills eco-lodge in Bwindy, Uganda. I’m working on the engineering part together with Akeka Studio. My work consists of rationalizing the main structure and translating it to a parametric model (with Rhino Grasshopper) for further project development, calculating the structure, and cost, and making a planning.
The resort consists of several buildings scattered on the hilly landscape, constructed mainly with locally grown bamboo. The fully parametric model helps understand their construction and makes it easy to adjust during the building process.
